Square and Circular Baby’s Shawl
Tension:
Knitting – 1 pattern (10 stitches) to 2¼ inches
Crocheting – 7 double trebles to 2 inches
The knitted square shawl pictured was knitted using Bella Baby Baby Wonder 4 ply 60% Acrylic, 40% Nylon in 2017. The circular crochet shawl was done using 8 ply and was crochet for my daughter in 1986 for her dolls.
The square shawl pictured measures approx 1.5 metre square
The dolls shawl measures 530 mm in diameter
My Mum recently knitted this pattern for my niece who’s baby is due at the end of April 2017 (see photo).
Mum crocheted the round shawl when my daughter was born in 1984, unfortunately I don’t still have the shawl. I do however have the smaller version she later crocheted for my daughter’s dolls (see photo).
